A total of 121 players paid $180 each for the privilege of doing good while having a lot of fun. Temperatures in the high 60s, perfect yellow sunshine, blue skies, green grass, and little white balls came together to applaud and support our efforts, and as the old saying goes, "a good time was had by all." The club celebrated afterward with a delicious lunch of salads, hamburgers, and barbecued chicken.

A number of goods and services were auctioned off to the generous BBRC members and their guests. The auctioned items and their winning bids were: Golf at Bear Creek Country Club for three people with Bill Brooks ($200); golf for four at Glendale Country Club, home of our weekly BBRC meetings ($325); golf at Overlake Country Club for three people ($350); a reprisal of the BBRC Golf Tournament for four at Willows Run Golf Club ($200); four souvenir Mariners Scorecards ($75 each); two tickets to the U.S. Seniors Open ($125).
